Aabstract
POM (polyoxymethylene, also known as polyacetal or acetal or Delrin) is a semi-crystalline, thermoplastic material, which is characterised by its good mechanical properties, high dimensional stability and excellent sliding and wear behaviour.
POM anti static compound is one of ESD protection materials which is based on POM resin ,with dosage level of 10%-25% permanent anti static agent added, can achieve surface resistivity value 10E7-10E10 Ohms/sq, long-term anti static effect,the anti static compound can easily be processed by extrusion and injection molding,suitable for colorable matching,offer reliability and value for applications that requires electro static dissipative. And the resistivity value will not changed after machining or surface grinding.This materials is suitable for automatic lathe machining, especially suitable for the manufacture of precision parts.
